Can you guess how many times Americans chew thier food?

Four times! We should chew our food about twenty times before it should be swallowed. Our bodies release a hormone that makes us feel fuller when we actually chew! Our digestion begins in our mouth.


2) Only eat if you are relaxed because when the body is in fight or flight it cannot digest properly. Our bodies do not know the difference between running from a sabertooth tiger or being stressed from the children running around the house and getting tomato sauce all over the new couch.
